CK-6 is made up of some very exotic butters, oils, and waxes from around the world: Kokum Butter, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Jojoba Wax, Bacuri Butter, Cupuaçu Butter, and Murumuru Butter!
Bacuri Butter: is very popular in the north of Brazil. It comes from the seeds of a beloved local fruit with rich pulp and flavor.
Is a natural butter extracted from the seeds of the Platonia insignis tree, which is native to the Amazon region, particularly in northern Brazil. It is rich in nutrients like fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, giving it powerful moisturizing and regenerative properties for the skin.
How it helps in shaving:
Bacuri Butter is highly emollient, which means it helps soften and hydrate the skin, making it an excellent ingredient for shaving products. It provides a smooth, lubricated surface, reducing friction between the razor and the skin. Cupuaçu Butter: Is a creamy, rich butter derived from the seeds of the Theobroma grandiflorum tree, a close relative of the cacao tree, native to the Amazon rainforest. It is known for its high capacity to retain moisture, as well as being packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamins.
How it helps in shaving:
Cupuaçu Butter provides intense hydration and has a high water absorption capacity, which helps to keep the skin moisturized during and after shaving. Its smooth texture enhances the glide of the razor over the skin, reducing friction and preventing irritation. Additionally, its nourishing properties help to soothe and repair the skin, leaving it soft and supple after shaving.
Murumuru Butter: is a phenomenally slick butter that gives a most excellent skin feel and slip. It is called the "vegetable silicone" for its ability to rapidly replace mineral silicon in the dermis.
Murumuru Butter is also rich in vitamin A and C and Omega fatty acids 3, 6, and 9.
The main fatty acid found in this butter is called Lauric Acid (at an astonishing 47%). It also has Myristic Acid, Oleic Acid, Palmitic Acid, and Linoleic Acid.
