1.Plastic spoon
Use a plastic spoon to easily apply mascara to the bottom of your eyelashes without smudging the skin under your eyes. It also helps you achieve a much thicker look.
2.Face type
To apply a blush that will flatter you the most, first determine the shape of your face. Blush not only adds color, but also defines the bones of the cheek. The way you apply your blush can bring out your strong features and hide imperfections accordingly.
3.Mesh Tape
This beauty aid will help you when applying eyeshadows and eyeliner, especially if you're going for a bolder look like Cat Eye. It will also help you achieve an even and balanced look for both eyes.
4.Highlights
Highlight placement is very important when trying to create a naturally beautiful eye makeup look. Your lighter colors should be applied to the inner corners, the middle of the eye and just below your eyebrow. Apply your lightest colors first and then move on to your darker shades. Just be sure to blend correctly!
5.Eyes shape
Just as important as your colour choices is the placement of the shadows - you can create almost any illusion you want! With careful placement, you can make your eyes look wider, closer, deeper, etc. Identify which eye shape you have and then highlight them accordingly.
6. Grow the eyes
If you don't already have a nude pencil, invest in one now just for this simple trick! Instead of applying dark eyeliner to the inner liner of your eye, use a nude pencil to create the illusion of a larger eye. It works best on those with fair skin.
7. Correct mascara application
Apply two coats of mascara on the upper and lower lashes, but wait 3-5 minutes between each coat, otherwise they tend to look unattractive.
When applying your mascara, you shouldn't just move the brush from the base of your lashes upwards. Make sure you move it back and forth while going up. Moving left and right will ensure that each lash is fully covered, all the way to the tip.
Check your lashes for any gaps. Use the tip of your brush to apply another coat of mascara to individual lashes where they look thin.
8. Foundation
This is the one thing that no matter how well applied, if it's the wrong color, it will look terrible! We all fear that our foundation will give us that scary orange line. Because your neck isn't exposed to the sun as much as your face, it's much better to color match your neck.
9. Contouring
When applied correctly, contouring can define the cheekbones and jawline, reduce the appearance of a double chin, minimize a larger nose and lift drooping eyes.
For the most part, the t-zone and under-eye area is where you want to add light while the outer part of your face, under your cheekbones, and your neck is where you want to define with a darker color. Keep in mind that blend is the key to a natural look! This may take a lot of practice at first.
10. Eyeliner Maintenance
You should always check your eyeliner because sometimes it starts to move away from where it was applied, especially in the summer months.
To maintain it , put some powder just under the eyeliner on the lower lid. It somewhat creates a barrier, preventing your eyelid from traveling down.
11.The trick for the lips
As it turns out, not all of us are blessed with luscious lips. Now, there are a few tricks to make them look bigger (a glossy lip is one), but for a more confident result, don't be afraid to line your lips a little outside your natural line. When we say slightly outside your natural line, we mean of course slightly.
12.Eyebrows
Many of us ignore our eyebrows without realizing how important they are in defining our face. There is no one shape that is best, it really depends on your unique features and face shape. Just like contouring, the shape and thickness of your eyebrows can help soften the shape of your face.
