How to lengthen my hair?
Many women every time they cut their hair, they would like to get it back.
Hair typically grows only a quarter inch or half inch maximum per month. And yet, extended hair is only possible if it's extremely healthy and doesn't have tons of broken ends.
The good news? If you feel that your hair isn't growing fast enough - at least half an inch per month - you can, in fact, speed up the process a bit.
Here's what you can do:
1. Cut your hair often
Experts strongly advocate trimming your hair to make it grow faster. One thing is for sure: If you want long, healthy hair, frequent haircuts are a non-negotiable issue.
Leaving your hair worn out for long, with broken ends will eventually cause it to break completely, and look downright thin.
It is recommended that you get a haircut every 10 to 12 weeks, to prevent split ends.
2. Rinse with cold water
Washing your hair with cold water at the end of your shower can give your hair an extra boost of growth power.
Cold water helps prevent moisture loss, You only need to do it for a few seconds, but this extra step can make a huge difference over time.
3. Don't forget the conditioner
Let's just say that conditioner should be your best friend when you're trying to grow your hair fast. You should moisturize your hair every time you shower.
Over time, coloring and styling, make hair weaker and thus there is more breakage and consequently shorter hair.
So to give your hair good health, always use conditioner, which helps to replace the lipids and proteins in the hair.
4. Avoid thermal appliances
Put straightening or curling tools down for a while. Hair straighteners, heat irons and all the like cause a lot of damage and will not help in the quest for long hair.
The healthier your hair is, the longer it will grow and overuse of these tools is not conducive to long hair.Even if you reduce the use of the heat tool, make sure you use a heat protectant every time before applying it.
5. Comb properly.
Brushing your hair is necessary, obviously, but keep in mind that aggressive brushing can cause damage to your hair. Basically, if you hear the sound of the brush breaking your hair, you definitely need to pay attention.
Be especially careful when your hair is wet and therefore more prone to breakage.
When combing wet hair, make sure you start at the bottom and work at a slow pace. We often brush from the top , but this just pushes small tangles into a big knot and can cause you to lose a lot of hair.
Instead of using any comb , choose a natural brush, which helps to evenly distribute your scalp's natural oils.
6. Attention to styling
If you catch your hair in a ponytail or in any way in the same place on your head every day, your hair will break over time from the constant tension.
Frequently changing where you grip it is an easy move that can help maintain the strength of your hair , which means it will continue to grow strong and damage-free.
7. Replace your rubber bands
The wrong hair elastics can put too much pressure on your hair and cause it to break. But that doesn't mean that it's forbidden to wear them back in your hair or not to grab them again. Just buy modern elastic bands that protect your hair.
