"I started my business in 2011, when the funding ended me as a researcher at a university in Cork, Ireland. The process of soap making was directly related to my work as a biochemist and so it was almost a natural transition.
I also loved the idea of ​​experimenting on my own workshop - was and still is an exciting and entertaining journey that ended up with the series bodycare Dr K.

From the beginning, I decided against the "rule" loaded with chemicals cosmetics as those available on the shelves of our supermarkets. If we were to make soap, I would be doing a "good" soap.
The use of the best and only natural ingredients results in what is good -for I provide- products - what I like to use and I am proud to put my name.

Since then, the product line has grown, and Dr K now has a variety of men's care and toiletry products. The handmade soap and other toiletries longer produced in my workshop in County Cork, Ireland, in accordance with EU regulations. All products are free of SLS, without paraben, without oil and are not tested on animals. I am determined to respect my commitment to sourcing of the best natural ingredients for the production of my rustic soaps, of lip balm, facial creams and men's care products.
