Lucky Tiger Hair Tonic is an “old school” hair styling product for classic look. 

 It makes the hair look glossier (though some say greasier), something which many people viewed as a sign of healthy hair.  The oils in the hair tonic also help hold the hair in place, making it easier to style, much like mousse or hair spray.   

They differ from other hair styling products in that they are almost always a liquid (except for “pomade,” a hair tonic that comes in a gelatinous or other semi-solid form), with mineral oil or liquid petroleum jelly being the primary ingredient.  

Some types may also include ingredients like ethanol and something to give the product a scent.

By Ben created a tonic for the hair and scalp, which was different and better than any other product was then named "Lucky Tiger Tonic". Whoever visited the Barbershop Ben had the same "royal" treatment - a shave, haircut and a generous amount of Lucky Tiger Tonic. And as time passed, Ben started selling the tonic in his shop, but also beyond the Missouri ...

In 1935, in Kansas City, the Lucky Tiger became a trademark and a classic American brand was officially born. As the popularity and reputation of the product spread to Barbers entire America, began to sell the entire range of products Lucky Tiger: shaving creams, mustache candles, shampoos, hair lotions, hair tonics, hair waxes, facial cleansers, astringents skin face lotion, cleansing masks, acne preparations and tooth bleaching powders.

By 1950 the Lucky Tiger became the most popular skin care brand in the barber of America.

In the early 60's but a visit from four guys from Liverpool, England changed pop culture and youth of America overnight. When the Beatles hit the shores of America along with the hippie movement that followed, hairstyles for men, and industry barbers changed forever. The "Lucky Tiger" seemed for a while as if it were still lucky. Despite difficult times but the radical changes in fashion preferences of men, the Lucky Tiger maintained a strong and loyal following in industry kinds hairdresser.
