Athena Closed Comb introduced at the end of 2021 and managed to be considered one of the best shavers worldwide in a short period of time.
The groundbreaking design of the head and the handle with influences from ancient Greek amphoras have made it one of the most sought safety razors.
Athena Closed Comb Made entirely on CNC machine tools in Greece, with an excellent mirror polished finish. Its construction material is a special bronze alloy which ensures excellent durability (comparable to steel) and relatively high levels of corrosion resistance.
- Its weight is balanced and it has specific points on the handle which have a matte texture so that it does not slip in the hand.
- Its main feature is its excellent efficiency combined with its soft feeling when shaving.
- The special design of the head allows water to escape from the sides of the base plate during washing, so that no residue remains on the head during shaving and it does not clog.
- The blade is held very close to its tip, resulting in a complete absence of blade chattering.
- It comes with a luxurious case made of solid mahogany wood, lined with foam fabric at the contact points.

The history of the Lambda traditional Lambda Razors shavers.
Lambda Razors began manufacturing safety razors in 2019 with a passion for traditional shaving in mind.
The company's long experience in 3D CAD design and CNC programming gave them the opportunity to build a prototype open-type shaver, named "Ares" after the Greek god of war.
Judging by the name, this traditional machine was intended to be aggressive and highly efficient. The Lambda Ares v2 shaver was tested by several experienced shavers in Greece and immediately garnered positive feedback.
It was an open-type scraper made of a special Al-Ni bronze alloy, which has a relatively high corrosion resistance, much higher than ordinary brass, but being much more expensive.
- Fully polished to a mirror finish, this gives the impression of a gold effect. Presentation is key to the Lambda Ares v2 shavers, which is why the company decided to include a wooden case, made entirely from solid mahogany wood using CNC machines. The whole package became very popular in the traditional shaving community, and this prompted it to start manufacturing the Lambda Ares in small batch production.
Later, in 2020, a completely new model was introduced, called Lambda Athena, which is a closed-type safety shaver with a completely new design, featuring some innovations that were applied for the first time to safety shavers. A prototype was produced, which again received an excellent response.
A small production batch was manufactured, which was sold in less than 2 weeks all over the world, from Greece, the USA and even Japan. A second batch followed shortly afterwards, again selling within 1 month.
