Trade Winds shaving soap has Moon Soaps Tropical Tallow formula.

Trade Winds has a wonderfully bright and crisp summertime scent with retro-inspired label artwork that pays tribute to the tiki bar scene of the 50s and 60s. This was a time when old Hollywood charm mixed with Polynesian nostalgia and gave the working man a chance to step out of the mundane and into the exotic.

Caribbean Bay Leaf, warm Tobacco, Cedarwood, a touch of Bergamot, and a zap of Key Lime

Trade Winds uses our Tropical Tallow Formula, the same base recipe as Havana.

Moon shaving soaps are handmade from scratch. They use only the finest quality ingredients like natural plant oils, locally sourced tallow (rendered in house), exotic butters, local essential oils and premium fragrances.

How to Use Shaving Soap Trade Winds Moon Soaps

Wet your face with warm water to soften the hair and open up the pores. This helps to achieve a closer and more comfortable shave.

Soak the Shaving Brush: Place your shaving brush in warm water for a few minutes to soften the bristles.

Load the Soap: Shake off excess water from the brush and swirl it on the shaving soap in circular motions. Load the brush until a thick, creamy lather begins to form on the brush.

Building the Lather:

In a Shaving Bowl: Transfer the loaded brush to a shaving bowl. Swirl the brush in the bowl, adding a few drops of water as needed, until you achieve a rich, creamy lather.

Directly on the Face: Alternatively, you can apply the loaded brush directly to your wet face and work the lather into your skin in circular motions.

Shaving:

Use a sharp razor and shave in the direction of hair growth to minimize irritation and razor burn.

Rinse the razor frequently to remove excess lather and hair.

For a closer shave, reapply the lather and shave against the grain with gentle, short strokes.

Rinsing:

After shaving, rinse your face thoroughly with cool water to close the pores and remove any remaining lather.

Post-Shave Care:

• Apply a post-shave balm or moisturizer to soothe the skin and maintain hydration.

Storage: Store the shaving soap in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its quality and longevity.
