For many; the SR1 was the razor that gave them the confidence to step up to shaving with a straight razor. But don't call the SR1 a 'training' razor - that's insulting. This thing shaves wonderfully and stands on its own as a serious razor. This razor has good heft and balance thanks to its all-stainless steel construction. Pair this razor with the Treet Professional stainless DE half-blades - this combo won't disappoint. A super smooth and steady driver - I give her 5 stars. Your mileage may vary.
