Hold the bottle 25–30 cm from your hair — never too close. Spray in even, sweeping movements across the full length. Don't overload — 2–3 passes from a distance are enough. White residue appears mainly from excessive amounts or spraying too close. For targeted touch-ups on frizz or flyaways: spray onto a comb or brush and then apply to the hair for precision control.

Yes — volumizing hairspray is applied at the roots (from underneath) before blow-drying to lift the hair and add body. This is different from finishing spray, which is applied after styling. For maximum volume: pre-styler mousse or volume spray → blow-dry → volumizing hairspray at the roots. This combination is the most effective approach for fine or flat hair.
