    This was my first experience shaving with a PAA soap; and I must say that Dapper Doc's Lilac & Fig did not disappoint. In a word; PAA's soap base (now famous) is luxurious and left my skin feeling soft and nourished post shave. The soap performs wonderfully; is easy to lather and provides very good residual slickness between passes. But what really shines for me about Dapper Doc's is the scent profile - just lovely. It's rich but not overpowering. The mix of lilac and fig is a match made in heaven - gentle; soothing; sophisticated and alluring. It's a perfect scent to match with Athens' sultry summer evenings. The infamous gambler and gunslinger Doc Holliday wasn't known to be a ladies man; but if he had shaved with this soap it would have certainly increased his odds. 5 stars equals perfection; and Dapper Doc's is as close to that lofty mark as I've come across in a shaving soap - I give it 4 and heartily suggest you add this soap to your rotation.
