    The JG shavettes are handmade. The pressing of the parts and the joints are in the hand and the result is different, not glossy and with traces of handmade work. All JG shavettes has this non-industrial glossy appearance, giving a rugged effect with strong bonding to the parts to retain the blade for effective and safe shave.

    Κριτική (Review) Shavette JG-XX80:

    Αρνητικά: Κακή ποιότητα κατασκευής. Η σαβέττα έχει πολλές γρατσουνιές και στο μεταλλικό κομμάτι αλλά και στην πλαστική λαβή της. Το φινίρισμα είναι κάτω του μετρίου; με αρκετά μέρη να φαίνονται τραχιά και μη τελειωμένα. Τα μέταλλα τρίβονται αρκετά μεταξύ τους. Τέλος η λαβή είναι φτιαγμένη από σχετικά λεπτό πλαστικό και λυγίζει πανεύκολα.

    Θετικά: Πολύ καλό βάρος της σαβέττας καθώς επίσης πολύ καλό blade reveal (πόσο εξέχει η λεπίδα από τη σαβέττα). Συγκεκριμένα; το blade reveal είναι αρκετά μικρό κάτι που καθιστά τη σαβέττα ήπια (όσο ήπια μπορεί να θεωρηθεί μια σαβέττα!) κάνοντάς της έτσι να συγχωρεί τυχών μεγάλα λάθη του χρήστη κατά το ξύρισμα.

    Τι θα άλλαζα: Θα άλλαζα το Quality Control (QC); το πόσο καλή και σταθερή ποιότητα υπάρχει καθώς επίσης θα άλλαζα το λογότυπο της JG στη λαβή (σε ένα χρώμα που να κάνει αντίθεση με τη λαβή πχ. άσπρο logo σε μαύρη λαβή); καθώς και την ποιότητά του; μιας και τώρα αχνοφαίνεται και όταν μπορέσεις να το δεις δεν έχει πολύ καλή λεπτομέρεια.

    Θα τη συνιστούσα σε έναν αρχάριο; κυρίως; που θέλει να μάθει να ξυρίζεται με σαβέττα λόγο της χαμηλής τιμής του και την ικανότητα να συγχωρεί κάποια λάθη.

    Tips:
    1. Η σαβέττα αυτή συνδυάζεται με μεσαίας επιθετικότητας λεπίδες (από προσωπική εμπειρία πχ. ASTRA SS; Shark SS ή
    Gillette 7o'clock SS).
    2. Ο αφρός που χρειάζεται μια σαβέττα πρέπει να είναι πιο "νερουλός"; βάζοντας βάση στη γληστράδα; αλλιώς ο αφρός θα
    φέρει μεγάλη αντίσταση κατά το ξύρισμα.
    3. Κατά τη γνώμη μου; ειδικά στους αρχάριους; να μην γίνεται ξύρισμα αντίθετα στην τρίχα (against the grain/ATG); μιας
    και με αυτόν τον τρόπο αυξάνονται οι πιθανότητες ερεθισμού αλλά υπάρχει και η πιθανότητα κοψίματος λόγο απότομου
    σταματήματος του ξυραφιού πάνω στο δέρμα.
    4. Από προσωπική εμπειρία βρήκα πως βολεύουν μεγάλες σταθερές κινήσεις κατά τη διάρκεια του ξυρίσματος αντί για
    πολλές μικρές και κοφτές; περνώντας μόνο μια φορά πάνω από το ίδιο σημείο (εξάλλου και να μείνουν λίγες τρίχες;
    υπάρχει το 2ο και 3ο πέρασμα που θα τις εξαφανίσουν).
